What is Linux?

Linux is an  OS means an operating system like windows, ubuntu, and android, that was created in university of Helsinki by a man named Linus Torvalds. Actually, Linux is derived from UNIX operating system which also developed  in Bill Laboratory. The Bill Laboratory one was the premises of the great Telecommunication company AT&T. 
Linux is an open source operating system for freely available which can be modified. Its distribution is a low level operating system because of UNIX derivations.
